"Working with Elaine was pure delight. As someone with no sense of style, no true appreciation for flowers, no wedding planner and a small budget, Elaine was absolutely my savior. Other than choosing to marry Adam, selecting her was the easiest decision I made when planning our wedding. From our first meeting (at a COMPLETELY different venue than the one we ended up switching to), I could tell she was easy to work with, flexible and so knowledgeable. The proposal she put together for that venue was exactly what I'd been thinking, without knowing it, of course - herbs and potted plants for a warm, intimate setting with exposed brick and gorgeous woodwork and stained glass (and people could take them home)!

Cut to the new venue, the super chic, minimalist roof top of The Wit Hotel and she went happily back to the drawing board and came up with a look that was just perfect (and within our budget, which is even more amazing). I would have expected a bunch of identical centerpieces that people wouldn't notice, but instead I was wowed by the amazing variety throughout the different types of tables inside, outside, in the fire pits, our gift/guest book tables, etc. Ranging from simplistically modern agapanthus and calla lillies to gorgeous strands of orchids wound inside dramatic tall vases - not to mention our gorgeous bouquets and boutonnières which incorporated our peacock theme without going overboard - I couldn't believe how they made everything look more put together and special.

I can't forget to mention that Elaine basically served as our day of coordinator, coming by on Friday to personally set up the ceremony chairs diagonally (the way I wanted, but was told it wouldn't work by the hotel), purchasing and pinning down a gorgeous linen runner, helping to coordinate the wedding party prior to the wedding and guiding the guests to our photo area and other hot spots as they headed upstairs for the reception.

From being someone I could trust to make decisions I didn't want to make for myself, to being there to move things along when I was in another (happier) world, Elaine was a lifesaver!"
